These Content Guidelines (“Guidelines”) set forth the standards and requirements for all content published on eBooksForest (“Platform,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Guidelines apply to all creators, authors, and publishers (“Creators”) who upload, publish, or distribute digital content through the Platform.
The purpose of these Guidelines is to ensure content quality, legal compliance, user trust, and long-term sustainability of the eBooksForest ecosystem. These Guidelines form an integral part of the Creator Publishing Agreement and must be followed at all times.
1. General Content Standards
All content published on eBooksForest must:
- Be lawful, ethical, and compliant with applicable regulations
- Be accurate, clear, and presented in a professional manner
- Provide genuine educational, informational, or practical value
- Be free from misleading, deceptive, or fraudulent claims
- Respect the rights, dignity, and safety of users
Creators are solely responsible for the content they publish.
2. Originality and Intellectual Property
Creators must ensure that:
- All submitted content is original, or
- They hold valid rights, licenses, or permissions to publish the content
The following are strictly prohibited:
- Plagiarized content or unauthorized reproductions
- Content generated or copied from third parties without permission
- Infringement of copyrights, trademarks, patents, or trade secrets
- Republishing content that violates third-party platform terms
eBooksForest reserves the right to request proof of ownership or authorization.
3. Prohibited Content
The following types of content are not permitted on the Platform:
3.1 Illegal or Harmful Content
- Content that violates local, national, or international laws
- Instructions facilitating illegal activities
- Content promoting violence, terrorism, or criminal behavior
3.2 Misleading or Deceptive Claims
- False advertising or exaggerated promises
- Guaranteed income, results, or outcomes without verifiable evidence
- Content designed to manipulate, deceive, or exploit users
3.3 Offensive or Abusive Content
- Hate speech, harassment, or discrimination
- Defamatory or threatening material
- Sexually explicit or pornographic content
3.4 Malware and Security Risks
- Content containing malicious code, spyware, or harmful scripts
- Files that compromise user privacy or platform security
4. Regulated and Sensitive Topics
Content involving regulated or sensitive subjects must comply with all applicable laws and include appropriate disclaimers. This includes but is not limited to:
- Financial, investment, or trading advice
- Health, medical, or fitness-related content
- Legal or compliance-related guidance
Such content must be provided for educational purposes only and must not be presented as professional advice.
5. Content Quality and Formatting
To ensure a consistent user experience, creators should:
- Use clear language and logical structure
- Avoid excessive spelling or grammatical errors
- Ensure downloadable files are accessible and functional
- Accurately describe content scope, level, and requirements
Misrepresentation of content quality or format may result in removal.
6. Metadata, Descriptions, and Marketing
Creators must ensure that:
- Titles, descriptions, and previews accurately reflect the content
- Keywords and metadata are not misleading or manipulative
- Marketing materials comply with advertising and consumer protection laws
The use of deceptive SEO practices or false claims is prohibited.
7. Updates, Maintenance, and Accuracy
Creators are encouraged to:
- Keep content reasonably up to date
- Correct material errors when identified
- Respond to legitimate user feedback
Outdated or inaccurate content that causes user harm may be removed.
8. Enforcement and Violations
eBooksForest reserves the right to:
- Review, monitor, or audit content for compliance
- Remove or restrict access to content that violates these Guidelines
- Suspend or terminate creator accounts for repeated or serious violations
- Withhold payouts related to infringing or fraudulent content
Decisions regarding enforcement are made at the Platform’s sole discretion.
